Welcome To Advent. Peace Be With You.

Our congregational focus is now--as it has been for more than 130 years-- on worship, service, formation and fellowship.

We're proud to carry on the traditions that have made us a vibrant parish for these many years. We're also a forward-looking parish committed to making Christ visible in our community and the world.

You are all invited to our Annual Welcome Back Picnic!

 Sunday, September 10, 2017
right after the 10:15 am service

We will:

Start it all off with  our wonderful Blue Grass Mass at the 10:15 AM Service
Provide the hot dogs, burgers, and drinks
Ask for donations of salads, sides, and desserts
Have lots of fun connecting and catching up
Enjoy meeting new Parishioners and seeing familiar faces

We are asking everyone with Advent BLUE T-shirts to wear them on that day.  If you would like an Advent BLUE T-shirt but have not ordered one,  call the church office

We will not be upset if you don't have a T-Shirt, we'll just be glad you are with us!

Sunday School also Begins September 10!

10 a.m. Service Time Change for Fall

Beginning on September 10th, 2017, we will begin our 10 a.m. service at 10:15 a.m.   The purpose of this adjustment in time is to allow 15 additional minutes for Sunday School/Formation programs. The 10 a.m. start time was not allowing us enough time between services for educational programming.

Our other service times will remain the same.

We invite you to take this opportunity to join us for coffee, spend 15 quiet minutes in the sanctuary, or walk around the grounds of the church. Please watch for Sunday morning formation programming that will begin at 9:15 a.m.
