An Attitude of Gratitude

Have you stopped to think of all the hours of ministry that it has taken to make this a Holy Advent and Christmas?  For sure there will be people that I will forget, but just to name a few:

Every person on our Altar Guild:  You make our Sunday worship possible.
Wilson, Alexis and our awesome choirs:  Your gift of song is a gift of love.
Formation teams, lead by Susan Pignolo.
All who participated in or led our Manger on the Shelf Program.
All who participated in our St. Nicholas program, especially Paul Bente.
All who led or participated in our Meet and Potatoes service project, especially Kevin Delaney and our youth who did a great job showing up in full force.  600 bags of potatoes for the food bank!
Kevin Delaney and Linda Fletcher for preparing the Wassail Party.
Linda Fletcher who oversees our coffee hour every week.

All who shared their food for the Food Drive, and Deb Schmittle for delivery.
All who participated in the Messiah Sing.  All who contributed donations for Family Promise of Southern Chester County. ($2100 collected and donated!)
All who have worked to bring this ministry of Family Promise to fruition.
All who have worked to decorate the church; Diane Bieberbach, Deb Schmittle, Patsy Keller, Dick McCoy, Brian Walls, all those who stayed to GREEN the church, especially Mary Beth Verget who has done this for 27 years!

Thank YOU for your participation, for showing up!  And thanks to all the other people of God who work so quietly and faithfully in their ministries.

Above all, Thanks Be to God for so many good things!

Let's begin this new year with an attitude of gratitude for one another and all the blessings of this life!  May God's peace and love surround you today and always.
