Gun Violence Protest and March

Gun Violence Protest and March

During the week of October 5, at least four Philadelphia schools were locked down for fear of guns on campus. Over the last two weeks we have seen one mass school shooting and two smaller but deadly school shootings in our nation. Last week 7 people were killed in gun violence in Philadelphia. It is time for Gun Sanity and Safety in our Communities. Sacred lives are lost, and sacred spaces like schools and churches are desecrated by gun violence. We need to make this stop by acting for sane and reasonable gun laws. Join us at Masterman High School on Spring Garden Street at 3:30 p.m. on October 21. We will rally at the school and then March to a proposed gun shop 7 blocks away to ask the city to oppose a permit to sell guns. For more information: the Rev.
