Vestry members

George James-  Senior Warden

The Senior Warden is elected by the Vestry to serve as primary liason to the Priest in Charge, represents the Vestry at Parish staff meetings, and provides managament functions as needed.

My wife, Donna, and I have been members of Advent for seven years.  We have two grown children and three grandchildren. My son, his wife and two grandsons are also Advent members.  Advent has much strength. Our people, our clergy and many of our programs are outstanding. We can build on these strengths.

Bryan Bente- People's Warden

The People's Warden represents the concerns of the parish to the Vestry.

I joined Advent in 1980 and our son was baptized here in 1982. Then we were transferred to California for 8 years in 1983.  When we returned in 1991 we were delighted to reconnect with Advent as our church home.  I have taught Sunday School and I sing in the choir. Committee and joined the vestry to fill an empty seat in October, 2012.  I was elected to a full term in April, 2013 and served as the Development Warden.

Christopher Pepe-
         Finance Warden

The Finance Warden works with our Treasureer and Finance Secretary to oversee the budget and finances of our Church.

I am husband and Father to Pepe Family.  Michele (wife), Sophia, Michael, Matthew and Madeline (Children). I have attended Advent for last decade. Longer term we need to provide an environment that welcomes young people into our church.  Young families are worried about raising and feeding their children.  They have options when choosing a church.  The church they choose should support them and strengthen them.

Damon Sinclair

Damon is co- Chair for communcations at Church of the Advent.

Frank J. DiCamillo

My husband and I joined this welcoming congregation back in April 2016 so that God could be part of our marriage. I'm a caring husband and father to our 3 grown children and a recent, proud Grandfather. I am a compassionate and hard worker that dedicates himself to working with the public.
Frank will begin work with newcomers at Advent.

Collis Townsend- Development Warden

The Development Warden oversees the annual giving, the endowment program, and any capital fund drive that might be agreed upon.

Catherine and I lived in the Boro for 25 years.    I have been attending Advent for 25 years, but can more often be seen walking an open field on a sunny Sunday. God shines on all of us in different ways! I understand the opportunities and challenges of running a non-profit organization.  Specific skill sets would include: governance, strategic planning, operational management, budgeting, fundraising, marketing, public relations, program development, and technology and relationship management. More importantly, I bring new perspective and a healthy sense of humor.
