What to expect at each service

7:45am Worship

This service is a quiet, contemplative service with a smaller attendance of approximately 30 people, and it is typically less than an hour in length.

Though it follows the same pattern as our 10:15 a.m. service and includes Holy Communion, the liturgy and prayers at this service use the older language found in Rite One of our prayer book (The Book of Common Prayer).

This older language is similar to the 16th and 17th century English found in the King James version of the Bible. We typically do not have music at this service; it is entirely spoken.

9:00am Worship

This is the shortest of our three services on Sunday mornings, lasting about 35 minutes.

Though it is designed to appeal to families with young children, it is attended by worshippers of all ages.

This service includes music from a variety of styles and a celebration of Holy Communion, and it ends in time for children to attend Sunday school.

10:15am Worship

This service is the larger of our three Sunday services, and it typically lasts about an hour.

This service includes Holy Communion, and the prayers and liturgy used in this service are taken from Rite Two in our prayer book (The Book of Common Prayer), meaning that the prayers are written in modern, contemporary English.

Music is an important component of this worship service as well, and it includes congregational hymns, choral music sung by soloists and our choir, and music provided on the organ, piano, handbells, and other instruments.
