Please come find out about Family Promise and how Church of the Advent is looking to help FPSCC. Are you interested in helping those in our community in need? We are looking for volunteers to support a new ministry at Church of the Advent.
In 2016, Church of the Advent was one of the host churches for Family Promise of Southern Chester County (FPSCC). Members of the congregation along with members from St. Patrick’s Church would support local families experiencing homelessness in our area approximately once per quarter.
The Covid19 pandemic in 2020 changed the Family Promise model. Today FPSCC supports more families than ever. This new model includes static shelters that FPSCC rents in the Kennett area.
