Choir Opportunities at Advent

Dear Advent Friends,


The first two verses of Psalm 95 read: 

1.O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.


We have three vocal choirs that are growing at Advent:

  1. The  Advent Parish Choir which sings at the 11 am service and rehearses on Thursdays from 7 to 8 pm in the Choir Room. Rehearsals begin on Thursday, September 24 at 7 pm.

  2. The Sunday School Children’s Choir which meets right after the 9 am in the Choir Room for a short warmup and the singing of a simple children’s worship song.

  3. The Advent Youth Choir begins on Monday, October 5 at 5 pm. This choir is designed for voices ages 7-14 and sings periodically at the 9 am service with a musical offering requiring a regular practice.
